Sherlock Holmes through his memorable portrayal
of the immortal detective in the Granada Television Production which ran from 1984-1994
and translated 41 Sherlockian stories into film.
Unfortunately, Jeremy Brett passed away in 1995
before all the original body of work by
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle could be completely reproduced.
Jeremy Brett suffered from bipolar disorder, for which he was repeatedly hospitalized throughout his life.
He died on September 12, 1995 from heart failure. |
